Lesson 5 of 6
Build your pipeline and keep owners informed
Work shared domain opportunities, record real buyer introductions and keep domain owners informed without exclusive claims.
By DigiBroker · Updated
Approved brokers work shared domain opportunities. All authorized available domains are free for approved active brokers with current agreements. Verified buyer introductions determine attribution, while private updates keep owners informed.
What you will learn
- Explain shared standard and Premium domain access.
- Separate verified introductions from prospect entries and owner updates.
Choose opportunities without claiming them
Approved active brokers with current agreements can work every authorized available domain for free, including Premium domains. There are no exclusive claims or limits on how many available domains you can work. Selling requires current approval, agreements and owner authorization.
Build a pipeline you can actually work
Save names that fit businesses you understand. For each opportunity, record your research, buyer conversations, offers and next step. Other brokers may work the same domain. Your pipeline does not reserve the domain or the buyer. Focus on useful introductions instead of collecting names.
Protect genuine introductions
The first verified actual introduction of the buyer who completes the purchase determines broker attribution. The buyer must confirm the introduction or the team must review supporting evidence. A prospect email, unsolicited message or link click alone is not enough. Existing direct inquiries and conflicting introductions need review. Do not approach a buyer already in a protected negotiation for the same domain.
Keep the owner informed
Share your stage, a concise summary, the next step and when you expect to update them. An owner may have several brokers working on the same domain. Each broker's buyer contacts and supporting evidence stay private. An owner update helps communication but does not prove attribution or reserve a purchase.
Try it
Choose a domain for research. Write why it fits three businesses, what you would need to verify and your next step. Then draft an owner update that explains your progress without revealing private contact details or implying that a sale is guaranteed.
