Learn the craft.

New to domains? Start here. Six practical lessons take you from understanding an online address to researching buyers, working with an owner and recognizing a completed sale.

Learning is open to everyone. Applying remains subject to manual review and eligibility. Reading these lessons does not authorize outreach, sales or payments.

Start the first lesson
  1. Understand domains and business fit

Learn what a domain sale includes and how to assess a name against a real business need.

  2. Find buyers with a real reason to care

Build a focused buyer research shortlist using evidence of business fit rather than large contact lists.

  3. Write relevant, responsible outreach

Prepare concise personal messages, respect refusal and keep outreach within the platform authorization and applicable rules.

  4. Negotiate within the owner’s mandate

Understand asking prices, private minimums, gross sale proceeds and the limits of broker acceptance authority.

  5. Build your pipeline and keep owners informed

Work shared domain opportunities, record real buyer introductions and keep domain owners informed without exclusive claims.

  6. Close carefully and understand commission

Learn why accepted terms, payment evidence, completed transfer and confirmed disbursement are separate milestones.

What does a domain broker do?

A domain broker connects a domain owner with a buyer, researches business fit and helps negotiate a sale. Digital real estate starts with the online address a business uses to be found. The work combines research, communication and negotiation.

Can I learn domain brokering without experience?

Yes. Start with these six free lessons and their practical exercises. Learn to assess a name, explain its value to a specific business and understand the owner's pricing limits. You can apply to DigiBroker as a beginner; applications are reviewed individually.

Do I need to own domains to become a broker?

No. A broker works with an owner's authorized listings. Buying domains for your own portfolio is a different activity. Read how DigiBroker works before applying.

How much commission can a DigiBroker earn?

The planned broker commission is 20% of an eligible attributed completed sale. On a $100,000 sale, that is $20,000. Learn the completion and payment requirements and check the current programme rules.
